Granny's Christmas

Mary Lu and I traveled to Nashville the second weekend in December for Granny’s Christmas.  While we were in town, we had our annual Christmas date with the Harts and Corums.  In an unprecedented act of simultaneous cuteness, all 6 of our children gathered under the Christmas tree for the picture below.  (I also snapped one of the littlest ones.)

Mary Lu thought the Corum household was tons of fun!  Of course, the night was not without injuries.  (That is a Spiderman icepack on Watts’s ear.)  Patty took Mary Lu home early for her bottle but not before I snapped my favorite picture of the Christmas season.

The following day, Mother and I met Graham Michael Haithcoat.  This newest addition to the family arrived on December 8th, just in time for us to make a hospital visit.  He is PRECIOUS!!  He weighed over 8 pounds and is such a bundle of joy already.  (Mary Lu and her germs waited in the car while we rotated in to meet Graham.)

On Saturday, the Varnadoes hosted Granny’s Christmas breakfast, a tradition Granny started for her family many, many years ago.  It was a really fun morning and Mary Lu loved playing with her cousins.
